We will begin our new reading book on Monday, Sept. 28th. It gets much more difficult very quickly. Please help your child practice the high- frequency words (sight words) often. I sent them home in the form of flash cards to make it hopefully more convenient. If your child can read those words easily then most of the other words will be able to be sounded out.
Show and tell will take place on Friday, Oct. 2nd. My students are excited to hear all of the good stories and learn new things.
No spelling test on Friday, Oct. 2nd. We will resume the following week.
